Does anyone suffer from rosacea. i find it difficult to cope with?

Yes it`s best treated by the doctor with some low dose antibioticsDoes anyone suffer from rosacea. i find it difficult to cope with?
I've had severe Rosacea for about 18 years. I started off on antibiotics such as MINOCYCLINE, TETRACYCLINE, ERYTHROMYCIN. Then I tried a topical gel from the doctor. The ONLY thing that worked for me was ROACCUTANE. It was like a miracle! I've been on it 5 times in the last few years.

Things to avoid:

direct heat (hot baths/showers, central heating, bright sun)

indirect heat (spicy foods- curry, chillies, things containing ginger)

citrus foods (limes, lemons, pineapple, oranges, tomatoes)

stress

strong winds, cold weather (keep as much of your face covered as possible)

alcohol, chocolate and drinks such as Coke

any perfumed skin products/things containing alcoholDoes anyone suffer from rosacea. i find it difficult to cope with?
i have had mild rosacea for 15 years.you are not alone.there are millions of people with rosacea.i agree with most people responding that you should see a dermatologist.there is a product i have been using for a year now called FACE DOCTOR SOAP.web search it and read about it and see if its right for you.its a very mild soap for rosacea.try the rejuvenating soap as well as the face surgeon ll together for better results.each bar costs about $10.00 and last for 3 months.after about 3 weeks,i started to see the redness go way down.its not gone, but its about 80% better.remember, there is no cure for rosacea, but you can control it.
My friend has it %26amp; she takes antibiotics %26amp; sees her dermatologist regularly. It seems to keep it under control.

Hope this helps.

my eldest daughter has it - she finds it worse if she has had a drink - so keep that low. She also wears special makeup and has pills from her doctor. As she is a natural blonde it shows up a lot but it has not stopped her marrying twice and having 3 children - try not to act selfconciously and people will accept it as part of you
