Anyone know the best things for Acne Rosacea?

Just wondering cause I have been on metro gel and tetracycline to control it and they don't seem to work. It seems I am a lucky one, no acne at all in high school but as an adult I am cursed. Those are the standard treatments? I had a thyroid problem and when THAT was finally under control the rosacea seemed to clear up? My family dr said the t hyroid was ok but I didn't believe him and went to a thyroid specialist who found hyperthyroidism and a goiter. I had rosacea for 3 years before that?
