Whats the best make up to cover rosacea with?

Treat your skin kindly. Avoid perfumed soaps, alcohol-containing preparations (such as aftershave lotions) and exfoliating skin cleansers.

Do not put strong steroid creams on your face, because these usually worsen rosacea.

Special make-up to disguise the thread veins and redness is available - cosmetic camouflage. In the UK, some hospital dermatology departments provide advice about cosmetic camouflage from volunteers trained by the Red Cross, using products available on prescription. Derma Blend , and Physician formula. Using one of these takes the guess work out of color modifiers. If you can't find one of these Lorac is also good. It's designed specifically for sensitive skin. It has no perfumes and is hypo allergenic as well. Good luckWhats the best make up to cover rosacea with?
I have severe rosacea. I am currently using Mineral Secrets by Skin Rx. I also had a lot of success with Sheer Minerals. I think just about any line of hypo-allergenic mineral makeup would do well. The concealers that come with both lines are terrific for covering the red, but I was able to match my skin tone better with Mineral Secrets. Mineral make up does not give that caked-on look that some of the previous makeup I tried did (including Sher and Dermablend).
Apparently ID Bare Essentials is very good at covering up all sorts or marks, including rosacea. You can buy it from BeautySleuth.co.uk. good luck.
i think you need the greeny concealer for that. ask at make up counter at your boots or somewhere, they'll be able to help

if you go to the link below you will find that the Sher company specialises in treating this condition. My Mum suffered terribly particularly around the nose and you wouldn't believe the difference within weeks. She feels so much better about herself. They do all skin products including make up

the brand is maybelline.
I think a good foundation that has a very slight touch of yellow in it. And I mean very little. just enough to balance out the red.

BUT, you should try Mary Kay's Even Complexion Essence. My director has used it for about three months and her rosacea is almost completely gone. Her cheeks don't look pink at all anymore. It is a great product, won't break you out and if it doesn't work, it is 100% guaranteed so you can exchange or get your money back.
puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
