In a perfect world, I'd like to find a foundation with realistic color, not so oil-free that it makes my skin dry and chalky, that covers the rosacea and undereye circles beautifully, and does not make my face break out. (Well, let's be honest - in a REALLY perfect world I would look like Heidi Klum and wouldn't even need foundation!)
I'm on a tight budget right now, so drug-store brands are preferable....however, if a product performs like it claims, I am certainly willing to pay the price.
Any suggestions?Women with acneprone skin/rosacea/over 40 - what is your favorite foundation?
Clinique make a wonderful foundation in a tube called Continuous Coverage. It even has an SPF of 15. A little goes a long way making the cost economical in the long run.Women with acneprone skin/rosacea/over 40 - what is your favorite foundation?
MAC from Nordstroms $24
Believe it or not Mary Kay. I hate to look made up and I don't wear it often. I have sensitive skin b/c of Eczema. I don't like liquid foundation so I opted for their powder foundation but I have used their liquid and it worked great. The make-up doesn't feel heavy or look cakey. I hate to see women with caked on make-up, a color that makes them look orange or yellow, or makes them look shiny. Never had that problem with Mary Kay. I've also used Mac (more expensive) but liked that as well for the same reasons.
Clinique's powder foundation is the best type of coverage for rosacea skin.
