I do for my eczema, but use very small amounts and apply lightly.I am using metronidazole for rosacea, can I put E-45 on aswell?
No, it will defeat the object- which is to DRY your skin.
I've had Rosacea for about 18 years now (am 49)
Try to avoid the following:
alcohol
heat of any kind.....hot baths, central heating, etc
spicy foods
citrus fruits
anything containing ginger
alcohol based or perfumed soaps, shower gels, etc. The fewer substances you put on your face, the better. If you must use a moisturiser, make it a very light one, such as SIMPLE
strong winds
stress
ALL of the above can exacerbate Rosacea.
I tried EVERY antibiotic treatment available for Rosacea, also Metronidazole gel. None worked. The only thing that worked was ROACCUTANE, which can only be prescribed by a dermatologist, and only IF the condition is severe, and al other treatments have failed

yes e 45 is mild enough for the area if it is dry another good application is good old fashioned vaseline it works wonders just always make sure you wash each application well off before applying the next
