what exactly does this mean? can i get rid of rosacea with medicine, but only if i continue to use it, or does it mean my rosacea will be tamed if i keep using it? thanks.Rosacea can be controlled but not cured?....?
I have been a long time sufferer of rosacea as well.
It is not curable but treatable. Never use products with oils, perfumes etc. and the skin can be quite sensitive to these ingredients.
You can control the flare ups if you continue to use the appropriate products, but if you discontinue your medication or over the counter products or if you use products that aren't designed for rosacea your rosacea will not be tamed.
Have you been to a dermatologist. I highly recommend it. They can educate you on the proper products and medication that you can use.
