I have really bad rosecea and I'm sick of just putting up with it. What facial cleansers/soap, and moisturizers are the best? Also, what Shampoo and conditioner? Medicine? I'm lost! Thanks.Rosacea- Which soaps and moisturizers are best? PLEASE Reply!?
Clinique has a new line called Redness Solutions that's designed for people with Rosacea or VERY sensitive skin. They have a cleanser, a daily moisturizer, a makeup primer, and also a cream for reactive redness from eating spicy food or drinking wine etc...
It's been very successful so far...you should give it a try. Clinique is Allergy Tested and 100% Fragrance Free!!

i totally agree with maryn bittner....you have to aoid nething that flares your rosacea. alcohol, spicy foods, heat...actually any kind of heat in general.
the main topical drug that a dermatologist would recommend is called metrogel. it's specifically made for clients with rosacea. as for products to use, i would suggest using professional products that have a specific skin care regimen for people with rosacea.
so basically, your first priority is to talk to a dermatologist and ask about metrogel or any other type of topcial drug for rosacea. second, go to an esthetician and ask what kinds of products do they recommend for someone with rosacea....hope this helps answer your question. good luck =D
Some rosacea responds to a topical creme that a doctor can prescribe, used daily. There's no OTC equivalent. I'm blanking on the name, sorry. EDIT: It's Metrogel.
A lot of the basic care is to try not to 'annoy' your skin. Wash gently with any soap which isn't excessively drying. Seek superfatted soaps if dry skin is a problem. Consider also a mild castile soap. Never scrub. Use any non-comedogenic moisturizer. (I like Neutrogena's Moisture for Sensitive Skin.) Keep anything that touches your face clean--towels, pillow cases, hats.
Pay attention to make-up ingredients. A dermatologist can advise you on brands of foundation which will not aggravate your skin, if you use foundation.
Avoid sunshine and tanning beds, spicy food, caffeine, and alcohol, as all cause temporary flare-ups. You may find other trigger foods as well.
Your best bet for long-term improvement is to consult a dermatologist.
